Our server migration is complete. We’ve moved to a new data center at 427 S LaSalle, Chicago, IL, USA.

We’ve upgraded our servers with 6 times the processor speed, 4 times the ram and moved to a more centralized data center which will yield super fast access throughout the USA, Europe and the Asia-Pacific market.

This is a beast of a server!

All webhosting clients are now hosted on:

• CPUs : Intel Dual Xeon E5405 (8 Cores x 2.00GHZ 2 x 12MB Cache)
• 8GB ECC Registered Ram
• Primary Disk:Hardware Raid-5 Disk Array
• 3×500GB 7.2k RPM SATAII 16MB Cache
• Hot Swap Hard Drives
• Backup Drive: 500GB SATA II 7200 RPM 16MB Cache

We now have 5 Tier 1 bandwidth providers that are amongst the very best available on the Internet. This is premium bandwidth and a totally redundant system. Basically this means we should never go down unless there is a server reboot for a software upgrade.

Should we have a hard drive failure, two dives will still server up your content. A failed drive can be hot swapped on the fly with zero downtime.

.999989% Uptime Over Two Years Time

In the past two years the server was down 5 times. Four were for software upgrades and once we had 2 hours of downtime over a backup generator issue during a power outage at the previous data center. All-in-all that is pretty remarkable. Out of 17,520 hours we were down for two hours.

E-mail Changes

For those who are using our mail services there are a couple of changes you should make with your e-mail client.

Use this format to setup your e-mail accounts:

User: yourname+yourdomain.com
Password: what ever you chose as a password

SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com
POP: mail.yourdomain.com
IMAP: mail.yourdomain.com

Free Plan Upgrade for Existing Clients

All clients have been upgraded from their VP-Series hosting plans to our new VS-Series plans. Basically we doubled your webspace for FREE as well as increased your bandwith amounts significantly. You can view the new plans at Virtual Servers.

Addon Domains and Domain Parking

We have also enabled Domain Parking and Addon Domains in the VS-Gold and Platinum plans. Host more than one website and or park a domain to point to your main site. All controlled via cPanel.

Shoutcast Radio Servers at VP Hosts

We are finally ready to rollout our Shoutcast Radio Hosting packages to the public. For the past 18 months we have been testing various server control panels and are pleased to announce we are using Shoutcast Admin Pro from WHMSonic.

SHOUTcast plans are available in several configurations:

1. As an Addon for existing web host customers. For only $10.00 per month you can add a radio to your web hosting plan. This plan uses your existing bandwith for the radio. Perfect for a small radio station. Access via cPanel.
2. VSC-Series offers expanded bandwith plans with SHOUTcast integrated into your cPanel. Please view the new plans HERE.
3. Stand Alone Plan for non-web hosting customers. This is a SHOUTcast Radio plan only with various bandwith options.

Customer Support Center

Login and manage all your account details as well as upgrade or add on new account services. You can fill out a support ticket should you run into any issues with your service.
